NOTE: Google Maps only take you to a culdesac. When you arrive at the culdesac,
continue straight on the gravel road past the storage lockers on the left.
The kennel is at the end of the driveway, behind the barn.
From State College
From 322 West (toward Altoona/Tyrone/Port Matilda), take Exit 68 (Waddle/Grays Woods). Then immediately get into the right-hand land and take the fork that says Waddle (to 550) or Skytop. (this is the old Route 322 West, which has not yet been renamed). Go about a mile and you'll come to a flashing yellow-light intersection. This is where 550 crosses (there is a UniMart on the left hand corner. Take that left onto 550South towards Stormstown. Go 2.5 miles and turn right onto Granny Lane. Go to the top of the hill and turn left onto TLD Circle. Go straight (the storage lockers will be on your left). Go into the woods, onto the gravel road. Take the left-hand fork toward Rooo Valley. The kennel is at the end of the driveway, behind the barn.
From Altoona and Points South
Get on I-99 toward State College. Take the Port Matilda Exit. Turn right toward Port Matilda and come down to the red light (Lykens on one corner-bank on the other). Continue straight through the light and wind up and over the hill to a T intersection. That is Route 550, turn left and go toward Stormstown. Pass Way Fruit Farm and Stormstown and go about another mile. Turn left onto Granny Lane. Turn Left onto TLD Circle. Continue into the woods, taking the left-hand fork toward Rooo Valley. The Kennel is behind the barn at the end of the driveway.
From Philipsburg
Take Route 322 East toward State College. At the bottom of the mountain, take the right-hand Exit for Port Matilda. Come down into Port Matilda to the light. (Lykens Market will be across the intersection on the corner, bank on the other corner) Go straight through the light and wind your way up and over the mountain. At the bottom on the other side is a T intersection. Take a left onto 550 North toward Stormstown. Go past Way Fruit Farm and go through Stormstown. About a mile past that, turn left onto Granny Lane. Go to the stop sign and turn left onto TLD Circle. Go straight (the storage lockers will be on your left). Go into the woods, onto the gravel Road. Take the left-hand fork toward Rooo Valley. The kennel is behind the barn, at the end of the driveway.
From I-80 and Points West
Take the Milesburg Exit
At the bottom of the ramp, turn towards Altoona/Tyrone/Port Matilda.
Come down the valley on Route 150 South.
Go past Bald Eagle, Unionville, and the tiny town of Julian (about 12 miles).
After Julian, within a few miles, start looking for the overpass that is the old Skytop route to State College. It should still have a ramp that says "to State College and 322E."
Take that right-hand ramp and go up and over Skytop Mountain.
At the bottom of the other side of the mountain, you'll see where 550 crosses at a yellow blinking light intersection (Unimart on the right-hand corner there).
Turn right onto 550 South toward Stormstown.
Go 2.5 miles and turn right onto Granny Lane.
Go to the top of the hill and turn left onto TLD Circle.
Go straight (storage lockers will be on your left).
Go into the woods and take the left-hand fork toward Rooo Valley.
The kennel is behind the barn.
You'll see it as you come around the bend in front of the house.
Note: If you miss the Skytop Exit from Route 150 and end up in Port Matilda,
just take the left at the light and proceed the same as the directions from Philipsburg above.
You are looking for Route 550 either way.
From I-80 and Points East
Take the Bellefonte Exit toward State College on the 4-lane (Route 322). Continue toward State College, and take the left-hand fork toward Altoona/Port Matilda (DO NOT GO TOWARD BELLEFONTE on 220 North!). Continue past the Toftrees/Woodycrest Exit, continue past Valley Vista Exit, and take the next Exit, Number 68, toward Waddle/Grays Woods. After exiting, get immediately into the right-hand lane toward Waddle/To 550/Skytop About a mile from there, you'll come to a yellow-light intersection. That's the Route 550 crossing (UniMart on the left). Turn left onto 550 South toward Stormstown. Go 2.5 miles and turn right onto Granny Lane. Go to the top of the hill and turn left onto TLD Circle. Go straight (the storage lockers will be on your left). Go into the woods, keeping to the left-hand fork toward Rooo Valley. The kennel is behind the barn.
